• It had been over an hour since she dropped Kathie at her house and got back home and the boys had not returned home yet, Cassie decided not to call or text, assuming they were really busy attending to guests. She decides to enjoy the silence of the house by taking a few sips of wine, added to the Lord of the rings she was already watching
• A few sips turned into a whole glass and a whole glass became half a bottle. Her eyes still wide awake as she finds herself laughing a bit too much to scenes that weren’t that funny.
• Cassie’s brought out of her own world once she hears the doorbell ring, who was at her house by this time of the night? She wondered, almost forgetting why she was awake in the first place
