Chapter 4

• Ryan's POV
• The name Royal came with a lot of responsibilities and the title Alpha of all Alphas became with the responsibility of the world. As I sat down for a meeting with other Alphas and listen to them argue about territories, I felt very tired and angry.
• For a month, I have been traveling from packs to packs, going from meetings to meeting and settling fight, I was very angry that the Alpha's would not come to an agreement.
• "Enough" I growled as I massage my temple and took a deep breath. "This tussle for a land has gone out of hand causing damage to people and properties. I want a proper explanation of what exactly happened."
• " This piece of land is in-between our territory" An alpha answered me while pointing to the man opposite him, "The land has always been used by my pack for exercise and training, all of a sudden Daniel decided that his pack wanted to take control of it"
• " The land is more on my territory and it belongs to my pack" Daniel said baring his teeth.
• " So, tell me how this escalated into a problem for six packs?" I asked Daniel.
• " Four of the Alphas here are my allies and they decided to fight for my right"
• " Why couldn't you guys share the land and avoid this whole conflict? "
• " I suggested that we do that and Daniel refused"
• " Because the land belongs to me not you Gael" Daniel stop up now partially shifted and growled.
• "Sit down" I told him and he complied. "Daniel do you want to tell me if there is something more to this?"
• " There is nothing else , my Alpha" he said averting his eyes
• I leaned forward so I could look at him closely." I wasn't asking, you are throwing a fit for something so trival and you involved four Alphas"
• " This piece of shit slept with my sister and threw her out of his house after. You ignored her after getting what you want " Daniel shouted at Gael who looked surprised.
• "I didn't sleep with your sister"
• "Are you calling my sister a liar after you treated her like a slut"
• " Daniel I didn't not sleep with your sister, why would I do that?"
• " Sit down Daniel don't make me say it and explain this situation again" I growled at Daniel who was making things difficult with his anger issues.
• "Gael and my sister have been friends for a while now and she told me he had been trying to court her. Then one day she dresses up says they are going on a date and then she comes back late at night crying. I couldn't get her out of her room till the night morning when she told me that they had sex and he sent her out saying he didn't want to see her again".
• " Did you try to talk to Gael to ask him what went wrong?" I asked Daniel who shook his head while glaring at Gael.
• "You" I turned to Gael who still looked confused. "What happened between you and Daniel's sister. I have known Gael for over 10 years now and he had to be the calmest Alpha I have met.
• "Talia and I met at a club two years ago and we hit it off immediately. We have been good friends until she showed up at my house asking me to mate with her and I rejected her since we were not mates and I wasn't interested in her that way"
• " That is a lie,my sister would never lie about something like that" Daniel growled cutting Gael off and I lost my patience.
• "Do I have to resort to violence to get you to act like the Alpha you are supposed to be, because right now you are acting like a child." I stood up to my full height and I watched Daniel and the others shrink on their chair. "Bring your sister to me and we can find out who is lying here"
• I went back to my hotel room along with my enforcers as I took time to relax before the other Alphas came back. I was nursing a glass of whiskey debating about when to call my mom when one of my enforcers informed me that they were back. Gael along with Daniel and his sister stepped into the room and I took my time to observe Talia before saying a word.
• "Talia , have you found your mate?" I asked her as she kept glancing at her brother.
• "No, Alpha"
• "Okay, you see I could have found out the truth from Gael but I felt it was better if it was from you directly. So tell me exactly what happened yourself or I can find out my self"
• " Can't we just settle this at home, just me,my brother and Gael" she asked avoiding my gaze.
• " It is too late for that now,look at me" Being the Alpha of all Alphas came with some powers which includes the ability to compel the truth out of others. My power has always been useful in settling disputes and find out the truth.
• "I lied to my brother, I was angry and embarrassed that Gael rejected me so I lied to my brother to salvage my pride and to also punish Gael"
• I moved away from her and I sat back on my chair as I watched her brother stare at his sister in disbelief.
• "That was completely selfish and stupid. Creating a dispute that led to a lot of damage just because you were rejected by someone who isn't your mate is a very unwise thing"
• " Please Alpha, I know I was wrong but don't kill me"
• " I am not going to kill you, your brother and Gael have to come to a agreement before I decide your punishment. I expect an answer in three days"
• I stood up without waiting for a reply and went into my bedroom. After taking a shower and eating,I decided to give my beta a call since my mom wasn't picking up.
• "Did you miss me, Ry" those were the first words out of Logan's mouth immediately he picked up the call.
• "Absolutely not, I found a new best friend on my trip and I am bringing him back home with me"
• " Nobody can put up with you apart from me,you obnoxious shit"
• " Hmm, anyways where is Ma I tried to reach her earlier?"
• " She is busy, brought back a visitor with her"
• " Who is she?"
• " Nobody knows and your mom isn't saying a word"
• Logan and I spoke for a while and I promised to be home the next day before we hung up. I laid on the bed and wondered who my mom brought back , she had never invited anyone in after Lexi. The thought of Lexi made a lot of bad memories resurface and I surpressed them before I slept through off.
