Chapter 50 Regrets

I have never been as hurt as I felt when Chrys looked at me with nothing but intense hatred. I know I deserved it all by calling her a whore when I know I was the only man she has ever been with. Jealousy and rage blinded me when I saw the necklace on her neck. It made me wish to rip it off her neck.
That was why I was harsh last night. But throughout today, I have been behaving abnormally. Not having to speak to her made it seem like I was merely existing. For the first time since I arrived at this place, I wasn't even thinking of the mission, which was the real reason I came here.
