Chapter 30 Did He Give You Too Much Trouble?

• I wasn't able to go down for dinner because of how my legs were throbbing. Gordon came up to check on me, but I didn't allow him to enter the room, afraid he might notice something wrong with me.
• Jayden brought my dinner to my room — garnished noodles and scrambled eggs. Apparently, the new maid made it for us. Though it didn't taste as good as the ones I make, it's good.
• Jayden stayed in my room and watched me eat, looking at me with a teasing smile. Though he didn't say anything, I can tell he's having so much fun knowing that he's the reason for me being this way.
