Chapter 54

• Maleah’s p.o.v.
• After hearing Harvey explain what he found I try to remember if I ever noticed something different between Max and Elyse and every other Alpha and Luna I met. I never thought anything of it because most things I remember are from my childhood and I hardly ever interacted with Max after I started my career, only seeing Elyse when I designed an outfit for her.
• Looking back I remember that Elyse asked Max’s approval for just about everything she planned on doing, I never thought much of it as I figured this was normal behavior between a mated couple. I didn’t even question it after meeting my first client, an Alpha and Luna that wanted me to design an outfit for their Daughter’s Luna Ceremony and knowing what I know now I realize that Max kept Elyse on a short leash.
