Chapter 17

• Mack’s p.o.v.
• After reaching the Pack-house Commander gave me back control, but ever since shifting back to my Human form I have been feeling off. Almost as if something or maybe someone is missing, I don’t like this feeling and Commander isn’t much help either. He is curled up in the back of my head and normally I would say something is wrong when he is like this, but the feeling I get from him is a relaxed and happy feeling.
• I ask one of the Omegas to bring some dinner to my Quarters, I just want to take a shower and be left alone for a while. Dad is waiting for me in our living room and before he can say anything I tell him I need a shower, “I will be right back and then I will answer any question you might have, but I doubt I have answers for you.” I tell him before I disappear into my room.
