• Pauline drives me and Delaney to my safehouse in Wolfpine and Fortune feels a bit better knowing that her Mates aren’t too far away. She understands why Delaney and I are mad at our Mates and she is more than willing to help us kick their asses if it comes to it, but it doesn’t mean that we all of a sudden don’t love our Mates anymore.
• We just want them to realize that things have to change, that we will not become Elyse because they are overprotective asses and I have taken care of myself my whole life. It doesn’t mean I won’t accept help when it is offered or when I need it from my Mates and I know Delaney feels the same.
