• As I wrapped up my work hours, I packed up my things and headed to the parking lot, following Marta's instructions. From today onward, I would no longer rely on Liam for transportation to and from work. My husband was thoughtful enough to arrange a way for him not to have to be near me for several minutes, at least twice a day. Liam had given explicit instructions to Marta regarding hiring a private driver for me. Being driven back to his apartment in the back seat of a luxurious car, guided by a uniformed and extremely professional chauffeur, was something I could never have dreamed of in my humble previous life.
• Upon arriving at the apartment, I sought distraction in some household tasks, like tending to my clothes and preparing something for dinner, only then realizing that the pantry was stocked. Moreover, the place seemed even cleaner than before, suggesting that someone had been there. Probably, Liam has someone to attend to his "mundane needs," such as apartment cleaning and grocery shopping.
