• The wind blew my hair around my face as I stood at the entrance of one of the caves around the moonshadow pack, the chilling message from my father played in my mind. Three Silverfang guards, their faces unpleasant to see, had delivered a letter from my father.
• I was to return to the Silverfang pack house within five days, or the Moonshadow pack would be destroyed. My heart pounded in my chest as the weight of this decision crushed me.
