She can't change the fact that she is still a danger to this pack. Hybrids are forbidden, and I am already doing her a favor by sparing her the dungeon," he declared.
• Ashford instinctively pulled Luna closer, shielding her with his protective embrace. "No one is taking her to the dungeon. If you all don't want her, I can take her," he asserted his voice firm with conviction.
