• I'm put through my paces the following afternoon. I slept horribly, waking up at the slightest sound. I'm exhausted, but regardless of my rank or the fact that I'm exhausted, my new trainer Claude is not going easy on me.
• "Again." He barks and launches the combination attack he's been teaching me to defend against, except this time he knocks me on my ass, catches me off guard, and pins me down with my arms above my head. Cain's gaze is fixed on me; he's been keeping a close eye on us while we're outside.
