Chapter 5 Finding Solution
- In a conference hall, Julia sat at the middle end, her palm wedging her jaw as she looked uninterested in what I going on in front of her, “How worst can this get?” She mumbled and watched the shareholders that have a lot to say about the situation.
- “Why don’t you go and apologize to him and get the tech manager back?” Someone suggested but Julia didn’t even bother giving that one any response.
- “You can talk to him and reach an agreement with him; you guys have been together for so long there is no way he is not going to listen to you” Another suggested.
- “Why would you let your personal matter affect the company?” Her uncle, Mr. Benjamin finally spoke while fueling the fire, but Julia wasn’t about to let that one slip.
- “Ask your daughter who think seducing her cousin’s man was an ethic thing to do.” She smiled at him after speaking.
- “It is man’s nature to cheat; you cannot blame my daughter when you couldn’t even keep your man.”
- “I guess that why you have so many illegitimate children outside, does your wife know?” She covered her mouth with her look of surprise on her face, “ Ah! Your future son in law is probably an example of you, I wish your daughter well.” Benjamin was left speechless by her words without a way to argue back.
- “OK. You guys are done talking, it is my turn” She locked her hands together and looked at their faces.
- “There is one thing that you guys always forget, and it is the fact that I’m not as kind as my father and I will do whatever I like! Listening to your opinions are right, but right now you all are talking trash!” She paused to make sure they are digesting his words properly, “I should beg him? I should know how to differentiate between business and private matters? I should talk to him and come to an agreement?! They are all bullshit ideas.” She hit the table as she spoke
- “No one even said anything like, we have to start looking for new partners or we should think of a way forward by cooperating with other companies, and all you could think of, is how we would embarrass ourselves. You all are older than me, you should at least think like adults. So if you can’t help me think of a solution, don’t you dare put any pressure on me!” She warned them coldly and stood up to leave.
- “For me, I think you should reach a cooperation with another bigger company, maybe through marriage.” One of the shareholders suggested.
- Julia looked at the shareholder but couldn’t argue back, “I will let you all know if a solution I found. I have never disappointed you all and I always find a solution to whatever problem that we are facing, this one will be the same.” After dropping her last word, she returned to the office.
- “Let’s go the bidding ceremony, we can’t lose this one too” She said to Isabella who nodded and prepared the necessary things needed to for the bidding.
- Just as Julia was trying to put some things together, someone walked into her office, “Grandpa, I didn’t expect you to come to the shareholders meeting today” Julia smiled at the elderly man, the biggest investor of the company and the only person that has the same value as her.
- “I heard about it in the news, I had to rush over so you won’t be bullied by those old cargoes, but like always you handled them well, just the way my grandson will handle it.” He patted Julia’s shoulder as she smiled brightly at him.
- “Grandpa, you are the only person who understands me well.” She paused and looked at him suspiciously, “Then why did you suggest I get married to someone when I just experienced heartbreak.” She pouted.
- “That’s because I want you to marry my grandson, you know I won’t just say that for no reason. And my grandson, has a big company, he is also better looking and so much richer than that your stupid ex. His company also has the resources to help your company, and you can help us too.” He sat down as Isabella served him a cup of tea.
- “So you just wanted to introduce me to your grandson?”
- “Not only introduce, I want you guys to get married and give me great grand children.” He smiled brightly.
- “Grandpa, I don’t plan on getting married soon, I will find other solutions to the problem.” Julia smiled and rejected his words.
- “That doesn’t mean that I’m going to give up, I will come again until you agree. And my son is also going to the bidding, I hope you two get to know each other there.” He dropped the cup, picked his walking stick and walked out of the office.
- “Why do I feel like, that old man will not give up until he gets what he wants.” She shook her head as Isabella smiled slightly.
- “Is not like you are really going to marry his grandson.” Isabella said and followed her out of the office and the company to the car.
- They made their way to the bidding venue well prepared, “Do you think that we are going to win this?” Isabella couldn’t help but ask.
- “I’ve never lost anything before except for when that Devil called Ethan is involved. I just hate him so much. And there are so many other competitors, we shouldn’t let down our guard even if we tried our best.” Julia took out her makeup kit and fixed up her makeup, and hair.
- After they got to their destination, she got out of the car with Isabella, and just next to their car was also Ethan getting out of the car with Nathan.
- Nathan and Isabella looked at each other and sighed, “Today was already bad, just the sight of him makes everything worst.” Julia mumbled loud enough for him to hear.
- “Eh… Seeing you with all these airs, I’m sure you have not remembered what you did last night. And what can I say, even when your own bad luck rubbed off on you” Ethan’s fire back was not gentlemanly at all. With waiting for her to say anything, he walked away with Ethan.
- “What did I do last night?” Julia turned to Isabella in a hurry and asked.
