• It was very late at night and few cars could be seen on the highway. Captain Marco Vincenzo had his eyes on the side mirrors as he drove back home. Well, he needed to make sure that he wasn’t being followed. The law enforcement officer doubted that the Mafia would come looking for Elena at his house but that didn’t guarantee that they wouldn’t come looking for him.

After he had dropped Elena off in his house, he had tried to contact his spy on the inside of the Salvatore family, only to find out that the guy had been fished out and was about to be prosecuted. The brother of the soon to be executed had answered the call and promised to end the officer’s life when he set his eyes on him.
