Chapter 27 A Furious Captain

Captain Marco was seated in his office, he was rolling the chair’s wheels around while checking his watch like he was waiting for something to happen, he noticed one of the cops walk to the detective’s office and whisper something in his ear.
Of course, he might be the captain and by that, the highest ranking officer in this station, but the detective was still in charge here; these were his men, he organized and taught them everything they know, it’s not a surprise that they would owe him their loyalty.
Marco Vincenzo knew that if he was going to make things work here in this precinct, then he needed the Detective. He was still in thoughts about that when he saw the Detective rise and start to come towards him. Captain Vincenzo guessed that there was important information; he hoped that it would be a clue that could help him further investigation on one of the ongoing cases. He hated sitting on his hands and that was exactly what he was doing right now, because all the cases left unsolved had come to a dead cold trail.
