Chapter 44 Moonlit Confessions
- The elevator doors slid open, revealing a breathtaking scene that made Edwin stop in his tracks. The rooftop restaurant was transformed into a private oasis, with twinkling lights strung overhead and elegant floral centerpieces adorning the single table set for two. Candles flickered in the gentle evening breeze, casting a warm glow over the entire space. Beyond the edge of the rooftop, the vast expanse of the ocean stretched out, its waves shimmering under the moonlight.
