Chapter 112 Dr Fred
- Driving into the hospital's premises, Edwin took a moment to sigh. He brought out his phone and stared helplessly at the unread messages he had sent to Lance. It was frustrating not being able to get across to his man. He missed him so much and wished to hear him talk about anything, including his frustrations and anger, as long as it was Lance's voice. Though knowing fully well it wasn't the right time given the different time zones, he desperately dialed Lance's number once again.
- "Come on, babe, pick up! Don't just ignore me please," he pleaded through gritted teeth, but it rang several times with no response. He hit the steering wheel out of annoyance as if it were the architect of his problems. The sudden honk startled him back to reality, and he quickly adjusted himself, slipping on his expensive designer sunglasses before exiting the car.
- Heads turned as Edwin strode through the hospital corridors, his lean figure cutting a mesmerizing silhouette in a navy blue blazer, casual black round-neck, and black trousers that emphasized his broad shoulders. Even with his dark hair looking disheveled from running his hands through it, it still had a touch of natural elegance, and each step he took exuded quiet confidence. Several nurses and patients did double-takes, some even gasping softly at the sight of the Hollywood sweetheart in their midst, but Edwin ignored the attention, his mind focused on the task at hand.
