Chapter 27 Path To Vindication
- The conference room at Thornhill & Associates hummed with tension as Edwin Kasper sat at the head of the polished mahogany table, surrounded by his core team. To his right, Marcus Goldstein, his long-time manager, drummed his fingers nervously on the tabletop, his brown hair slightly disheveled from running his hands through it repeatedly. On Edwin's left, Kimberly lounged in her chair, his wine-colored hair artfully tousled, a stark contrast to the seriousness in his eyes.
- Across from Edwin sat Victoria Thornhill, his high-powered attorney, her tailored royal blue suit as sharp as her piercing gaze. Next to her, Max Callahan, Edwin's publicist, nervously adjusted his horn-rimmed glasses, his fingers tapping an anxious beat on the stack of papers before him.
- "Alright, everyone," Victoria began, her voice cutting through the tension like a knife. "We've got a lot to cover, and time is not on our side. Edwin, why don't you start by bringing everyone up to speed on the new evidence?"
