Chapter 39 The Game Begins
- Edwin's mind was racing frantically as he stormed into his house, slamming the door behind him. His fingers trembled as he poured himself a hefty whiskey, amber liquid sloshing over the rim. The actor's green eyes, usually sparkling with charm, were now dark with turmoil.
- Lance's confession echoed in his mind, the unexpected kiss burning on his lips. Edwin ran a hand through his jet-black hair, mussing it in frustration. "This is ridiculous," he muttered, downing half the whiskey in one gulp. "I'm not... I can't be..."

Edwin had always dated women; his entire life was a testament to his heterosexuality. This confusion was surely just a byproduct of his recent breakup, nothing more.
