Chapter 96 Vacation
- “Here.” Killian wrapped a scarf around my neck. “I do not want you getting cold.” I gave him an incredulous look but said nothing. The days were getting colder but not to the point of needing a scarf. “Take my jacket. Your face looks pale.” He was about to take off his jacket but I could not keep mute any longer.
- “Killian, we are adult wolves,” I reminded him. Only children who hadn’t shifted suffered from colds. “Let’s go inside.” I stretched out my hand to him and he took it without a moment of hesitation. My body warmed from head to toe.
- The palace would be in turmoil now and it may even fan the rumours of me being an evil witch but for now, that was not our concern. When Killian said he needed a break, I feared he wanted to quit it all and gallop into the sunset but he meant a literal break, not giving up.
