• “Can I – can I come?” I asked with a pounding heart. As much as I tried to stay positive, to not let the little voice in my head deceive me, I felt left out. I was not an official member of Redville pack so I could not respond to the Alpha’s Call.
• “If you want to,” Valens said with zero hesitation, offering me a hand to stand. I took the hand, holding back a smile as we left the office. For a brief second, I had feared refusal.
