• When we arrive at the hotel Aqua is looking around as if the entire place looks foreign to her. Hades went to check us in at the front desk, and I was trying to figure out how to calm her from the shock. I can’t say I disagree. This is traumatic because although there is a hint of the old Atlantis, the gaudy lighting and tacky resort look has ruined what was once a stunning underwater oasis. People are running around like it’s just another stupid vacation resort.
• What concerns me is the princess of Atlantis has returned, and no one has even given her a second glance. When her sad eyes look at me, she’s sucking back tears and it breaks my heart.
