• Zeus never came to the hotel last night and I’m really worried. I ended up calling his maid, Franny, to ask her to watch Pearl so I could go check on him. He was so upset last night when I left that I thought he was having a nervous breakdown.
• I hate the way I’m feeling. Here is this man I know isn’t good for me, yet I want him with every fiber of my being. The truth is, I think I’m falling in love with him. Not to mention I’m so attached to Pearl that I don’t think I could walk away from this job if I tried. I’ve always loved kids and being a nanny is all over ever known my entire adult life, but this is different.
