• A week after the raid on the compound, I’m feeling better, but emotionally I’m still struggling. Zeus says he can’t take away the memories, so I just have to work through the pain on my own. I’ve been talking to a therapist and right now, I just feel numb. One thing I do know is I love him. He risked everything to save me, and I’ll always be grateful.
• When I pull myself out of bed, I smell something cooking. Zeus loves to cook breakfast, and it’s his daddy-daughter time every morning with Pearl. When I enter the kitchen, his brothers along with Thor, Hercules, and Athena are there, helping cook and set the table.
