Chapter 25

• ~Zeus~
• It’s Valentine’s Day, and I got up early this morning to go run some errands. These last couple of months have been amazing. I spent New Year’s Eve with Blue after the surgery, and it was nice to just be home watching the Times Square ball drop on TV and eat popcorn. Normally I’m partying the night away and end up with a hangover from Hades the next day. This year, I woke up happy with my girl in my arms and Pearl lying across my chest, snoring her cute little baby snore.
• Let’s see… Roses and chocolates were sent to all my daughters and Blue, a new teddy bear for Pearl, and cards were sent to all my sons and grandkids. This holiday thing is exhausting, but it feels nice to take out extra time for my family. It’s funny, I understand why people on Earth look forward to retirement. Since I’ve taken time off from work, I’ve relaxed and taken time for myself.
