Chapter 28 Why Should I Help Her?

• When Violet arrived at Mia's studio, she immediately realized the atmosphere in the studio was unbearably dull. The director had seemingly stopped yelling just a few seconds ago and was drinking his tea furiously. On the other hand, Mia was sitting in a corner with a pale face, clenching the script in her hand.
• "What's wrong?" asked Violet after tiptoeing over to Bryan.
• "It's an internal monologue scene." Bryan lowered his voice as well. "This scene is filming Miss Mia's emotional changes. She needs to show anger, ecstasy, hopelessness, and relief in one take. Yesterday, she tried filming this scene six times, but the director wasn't satisfied with a single one. He asked her to go home and calm herself down, but when the filming started this morning, she still couldn't get past this scene." After saying that, he sighed as well. "It's not Miss Mia's first day on set, but her performance is unbearable."
