- After a few moments of silence, the two children stared at each other in a stalemate until Rowan responded and questioned Benedict. “Who are you? Why are you in my house?”
- “It’s you?” Benedict had his hand on the doorknob in the same pose as his heart skipped a beat. However, when he realized there was no one else at home, he slowly started to calm down. Then, he walked right through the door and took off his shoes in a casual manner before he took out another pair of flip-flops and put them on like he had been living there for a long time.
- Needless to say, Benedict’s action didn’t sit well with Rowan. This guy stays in my house, answers my call when he shouldn’t have, and wears my shoes now?! “You! Get out of my face!” Rowan pouted, pointing at the door with an angry scarlet face. This boy was the one who took Mommy away from me last night!
