• Just as Alex was about to start his car, his phone buzzed, breaking the silence in the vehicle. He glanced at the screen, his eyebrows raising slightly when he saw the caller ID. It was Asher, his younger brother. With a quick press of the button, he answered the call, holding the phone to his ear.
• “Big brother, where are you?” Asher’s voice came through the speaker, a hint of worry lacing his words. “Mom has been trying to call you since morning but your phone was coming off.”
