- Ira, her face set in a stubborn expression, shook her head. “I really don’t think this is necessary,” she began, her voice firm. “I can manage on my own.”
- Alex, leaning forward, interjected. “Ira, it’s not about managing on your own. It’s about convenience. You’ll be closer to the office if you stay at my place.”
- Sophie chimed in, her tone calm and rational. “Alex is right, Ira. It will save you a lot of time. Plus, it’s just for a few days.”
