Chapter 33 I Will Drop You

• Ira was roused from her slumber by a faint sound. It was a soft, rhythmic noise that seemed out of place in the early morning quiet. She sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, and listened. The sound was coming from the kitchen. Intrigued, she slipped out of bed and followed the noise.
• As she entered the kitchen, the source of the sound became clear. Alex was there, bustling around the kitchen to prepare ingredients. The sizzle of something cooking on the stove filled the room, mingling with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Alex was making breakfast.
• Upon noticing Ira, Alex turned towards her, a warm smile on his face. “Good Morning Mi Reina,” he greeted, his voice filled with affection. Ira, still groggy from sleep, responded with a confused “huh”. Alex chuckled at her sleepy state and repeated, “Good Morning”.
