She gently stroked my head and gave me a quick peck on my cheek. "Why don't the two of you grab your coats while I get my driver ready to go into city?"
I nodded obediently and quickly ran off the side closet near the front of the house to grab our coats.
Liam grumbled about spending more time with her as I carefully bundled him up in his coat, scarf and mitts. He really didn't like to spend time with anyone besides Achilles and myself, but I managed to quell his frustrations with a reminder that we were doing this for Achilles, to repay him for everything he's done for us.
