Chapter 140

• I quickly cleaned myself up and drained the tub before my thoughts could spiral off any further. I wrapped myself in a fluffy towel as I brushed my teeth and combed through my damp hair.
• As I took in my appearance in the mirror, I wasn't surprised in the slightest when I found several new marks decorating my skin. A new bite mark in the crook of my neck. Then another bite on my left breast, refreshing the old one. And one last set of imprints engraved onto the inside of my right thigh, above the old bite and awfully close to my nether regions. Besides these, there was also a whole series of hickeys and other marks scattered across my body.
• If anyone saw me, they would've surely thought that I had been mauled by an animal.
