Chapter 5 A Bad Visit To The Hospital

• Sofia looked around the hospital room, she felt a little confused at first, but soon realized where she was. She palmed her throbbing head as she sat up on the bed.
• A nurse entered her ward but paused on seeing her awake. “You are awake,” she asserted, dropping the tray she came in with before leaving to inform the doctor in charge of Sofia.
• A few minutes later, Sofia was confirmed to be alright by a doctor who she doesn't know.
• How did I get here in the first place? Sofia thought as she watched the doctor leave with the nurses. It didn't take too long for Sofia to recollect all of her memories.
• She gasped and looked around the hospital room. She stood up and tiptoed to the door to see two men standing guard there.
• She opened the door a little and peeped out to see more men standing guard there. Sofia gasped, attracting the attention of the men.
• “Miss, you need to stay in there.” One of the men told her.
• “I need to use the restroom,” Sofia quickly lied. She had to save herself before they took her back to Sergio Vincenzo's cabin.
• She can't believe Sergio sent more than four men to guard and make sure she doesn't escape from the hospital.
• “A restroom is inside your room. The nurse will bring something for you to eat.” The man informed her and immediately shut the door on her.
• Sofia bit her lips hard, thinking of a way to get out of this mess.
• A restroom inside my room? Why could they give me a room with a toilet in here?
• Sofia sighed in frustration, taking her sit by the beside. She was still deliberating on how to overpower the men there when a nurse came in, she carried a tray of food and dropped it for her.
• “You should eat it. I heard you'll be leaving today, even tho you woke up too not long ago.” The nurse said and turned to leave, but Sofia called her back.
• “Wait, how long was I here for?
• “You have been admitted here for four days now.” The nurse replied and immediately left.
• Sofia walked to the door in time to see the men guarding her inspecting the nurse to see if she was the one.
• Sick bastards. They are smart. Sofia thought and went to her meal, she opened the covered tray to see veggies and lots of healthy food.
• She groaned at the sight. She hates hospital food a lot. They were too healthy for her liking, but Sofia was too hungry now.
• She sat on the bed and started devouring it, and before you know it, she had finished eating the content.
• Sofia exhaled in satisfaction. I have the strength to think of something smart now. Sofia thought and smiled to herself.
• I need to escape before they come for me. I have to escape.

• Rocco was driving Sergio Vincenzo home when Sergio suddenly asked Rocco to go to the hospital.
• Rocco looked at Sergio through the rearview mirror.
• “The hospital?” He asked.
• “Yes,” Sergio confirmed, and Rocco immediately reversed. Before you know it, they were in front of the hospital.
• Rocco parked properly and Sergio came down. Sergio's men that were guarding outside the hospital immediately rushed to him.
• “The girl?” Sergio questioned.
• “She woke up about two hours ago.” One of his men replied.
• “I know, I want to know if she's still- I hope she hasn't escaped because I'll be killing you all in her stead?” Sergio Vincenzo groaned.
• “No… No capo.” The man shook his head violently. The men outside were not sure what was happening inside, they only got information from the men guarding inside that she woke up. They don't have any information aside from that.
• They hoped Sofia was still inside her hospital ward because they know Sergio won't hesitate to do as he promised if she escaped.
• “Good.” Sergio Vincenzo groaned out and started heading into the hospital. They all followed him, including Rocco, who re-parked the car.
• Once they got closer to the VIP ward Sofia was admitted in, the men guarding the ward sighted Sergio and stood upright.
• They watched him come closer and once he was close enough, they greeted him with a grave face.
• Sergio Vincenzo didn't reply to their greetings, but went ahead to command them to open the door.

• Sofia was still contemplating how to escape. She was busy checking the toilet to see if she could escape through the window, but the size of the window there was unbelievably small.
• She heard the loud greetings outside her ward and immediately rushed out to her room. Her heart started beating fast at the knowledge that Sergio Vincenzo was standing outside and could come in at any time.
• The door was thrown open a moment later and Sergio stepped into the room. He walked in so slowly, like he was expecting to catch her in an act.
• Sofia stood with her hands behind her as she watched him draw near.
• She couldn't look up at him this time. If she feared him at first, she was now more than scared of him after experiencing hell in his hand.
• Rocco didn't come in with him. Sofia mentally noted this. The knowledge crept her out.
• “You look frightened.” Sergio Vincenzo stated the obvious.
• Sofia continued staring at the floor, afraid if she stared at him, her stubborn self might put her into further trouble.
• “Good, that is how I like my hostages. I love my enemies looking scared of me.” Sofia heard him scoff after saying this.
• “Look up.” He ordered, but Sofia kept her eyes on the floor.
• “I said, look up!” With the second command, her hair was yanked back, and she instantly stared into his cold, unforgiving eyes.
• “Not so fearless, huh,” Sergio mocked.
• And then Sofia made the biggest mistake of her life by laughing.
• His demeanour changed at this.
• His eyes burned into her own as he gave out the command.
• “On your knees!”
