Chapter 4 Sergio Vincenzo Anger
- “Kill him!” Sergio Vincenzo ordered and Matteo, one of his men, put a bullet into a man's head. He had come to spy on them.
- Rocco and Carlo exchanged looks. Carlo gave Rocco a questioning look, and Rocco shrugged his shoulders.
- “Bring the next person forward.” Sergio Vincenzo ordered, a man and his sister were brought forward by his men. They were made to kneel in front of Sergio Vincenzo.
- Sergio Vincenzo tapped his foot on the floor impatiently as he wanted to hear of their offence.
- “The man was caught trying to steal from one of your warehouses, we captured him and his sister,” Matteo informed.
- “Why?” Sergio asked, staring at the shivering man kneeling.
- The man peeked up at him but took his face down.
- “Kill him!” He ordered, looking more impatient.
- Rocco and Carlo stared at each other again as Matteo shot the man. His sister fell to the floor, whimpering at the sight.
- “Boss, what should we do with her?”
- “Sell her. Get her out of my sight.” Sergio Vincenzo groaned.
- Matteo looked up at Rocco and Carlo to say something, but got nothing from them.
- “Okay, capo.”
- “Take her away,” Matteo ordered the others.
- "Next?” Sergio Vincenzo demanded.
- A woman was brought forward this time around, she was forced on her knees as the rest.
- “Her offence?” Sergio Vincenzo questioned.
- “She-she seduced one of our men to get information regarding you. She's a spy.” Matteo informed.
- “Take back her body parts to those who sent her,” Sergio ordered without looking up.
- “Okay, Sergio, I think you need to calm the fûck down,” Carlo spoke up.
- “Next!” Sergio groaned out, ignoring Carlo.
- Carlo was his cousin, and they share the same surname. He was the kindest one of the Vincenzo's, he loves playing around with women he finds worthy. He is a board member who holds many shares in their illegal business. Although he was not an active member, he loved following Sergio a lot.
- The men brought out two guys, about age 14 and 16. They seem to be brothers. Both were shaking violently.
- “Boss, they-the two boys were sent to spread rumours about you. They lied to the police that you killed both of their parents and demanded your arrest, but the station called and handed them to us.” Matteo explained.
- “Why, why did you do that?” Sergio Vincenzo asked.
- “They took our parents and asked us to say that. We had no option.” The older one cried out.
- "T,” Sergio opened his mouth, but Carlo beat him to it.
- “Release them and help them find their parents. Kill those bastards who are trying to frame Vincenzo up. Kill them on sight.” Carlo said.
- “Yes, Boss,” Matteo answered and ordered the men to take the two boys away.
- “Pass my order, don't harm them. They are just kids.” Carlo added.
- “Yes.”
- Carlo turned to Sergio, who was now quiet.
- “You need a nap, let's continue tomorrow.” Carlo declares.
- “Who are you to decide that?” Sergio Vincenzo looked up at his cousin.
- “I'm not trying to fight with you, Sergio, please.” Carlo sighed and walked off.
- Sergio Vincenzo stood up and walked out of the prison-house, Rocco followed him without a word until they got to his office.
- Sergio Vincenzo sat down behind his desk and wiped the sweat that gathered upon his face.
- “What about her?” He questions not looking up.
- Rocco instantly knew who Sergio was asking. Sergio, Vincenzo has been surprisedly paying more attention to Sofia than Rocco expected. Rocco also knew Sergio was acting more ruthless because of Sofia.
- He couldn't handle her. Sofia was too stubborn, and she was messing with his head.
- No matter how she was tortured, she was unable to agree to their terms. Sofia completely blacked out and was rushed to the hospital, she has been in the hospital and there has not been any improvement.
- Sergio Vincenzo didn't want her dead, no, not yet. She was giving him too much concern, and he kept promising himself to deal with her after bringing her back to health.
- “There has not been much improvement yet. She might remain that way for the next two weeks.” Rocco told.
- He heard Sergio Vincenzo scoff.
- “Not so strong again.” He hissed.
- “Are you checking out for those that sent her?”
- “Yes, Capo. We are tracking them, it's a bit harder than we thought. Breaking into their security system seems impossible. They have a high level of security protection.”
- “What is the name of the group?” Sergio Vincenzo inquired.
- “They are known as triple X assassinators. They are largely hired by top mafia leaders to get rid of people they don't like. The leader is currently nowhere to get found. We don't know where he is hiding, we don't know their main hideous either.”
- “Then, how do people contact them?” Sergio groaned out. The lack of information was pissing him off.
- “Through their official email address. Although I heard it's hard to make them work for you, it's not about the money, but they mostly select who they work with. Their gang members are trained not to spill any information, even when they face death.” Rocco informed.
- That's the reason it's been hard to crack, Sofia. Rocco wanted to add but kept quiet.
- Loud noise and clicking of heels were heard outside the office, and the door to Sergio's office was opened.
- Angela Vincenzo, Sergio's sister, stood there boiling.
- “Why have you ordered your guards not to let me out?” Angela screamed, looking enraged.
- “Rocco, get her out of here!” Sergio ordered.
- Rocco obeyed and immediately dragged Angela away. Angela bite and cursed Rocco as he carried her over his shoulders to her room.
- Rocco didn't react, but went ahead to drop her on her bed.
- His phone started ringing. He brought the cell out and looked at the number. The hospital.
- He picked up the call and Vincenzo's family doctor spoke up.
- “She woke up.” Rocco heard.
- “The girl woke up.”
