Chapter 53 Upset With Him

• “You are here?” Jessy asked when David walked into the kitchen and went straight to the refrigerator. It was surprising to see him around knowing he left early for work, but David, who was upset minded with only getting water on his mind stopped and turned around to see Jessy sitting at the kitchen counter eating a sandwich.
• “Where is Sammy?” David ignored Jessy's question and asked the important one as he retrieved a bottle of water from the refrigerator. He just finished up his workouts.
• “She's not back yet, but I'm sure she will soon,” Jessy said, checking her phone screen for time. David didn't understand a thing, nor did he know that Sammy left. It was early in the morning, so where did Sammy go? After what happened the previous night. He went to check up on her in her room first thing when he woke up, unfortunately, he didn't find her there; hence he left and thought she was downstairs.
