• “And the prince slayed the dragon and saved the pretty princess…they lived happily ever after…the end” Jessy ended reading the bedtime story the twins asked her to read for them.
• She smiled when Owen muttered something about the story being for girls. At four, Jessy was surprised that the twins were intelligent. They did things that surprised even Sammy.
• “Goodnight boys,” Jessy said with a smile and kissed the boys on the cheeks, and carefully put the book on the nightstand. It had been a crazy night. Turning off the main light, Jessy left the lamp on the nightstand one just to give some light in the room and left.
