• Dave was staring at his laptop screen, when in reality he was lost deep in thoughts. His phone had been ringing for some time, but he didn't seem to hear it. His bedroom door opened and Sammy walked in. To her surprise, the man was just sitting there without moving like a statue.
• “Hey,” she said as she kicked off her heels and set them aside. Dave didn't answer, which surprised Sammy as she took off her coat and kept it on the chair near the dressing table.
• “Dave?” She called him this time and walked up to the bed. Looking at the man, he didn't seem to hear her “hey” she muttered, placing her hand on his shoulder and only then did he jerk back to reality and glanced up at her.
