Chapter 255 Chaos Looming

• Rod Benson stood at the door with arms folded and impatiently waited for the police to bring out Mrs. Brant from the cell. She had been kept at the cell since I got her arrested after attempting to murder Brian.
• Once the door opened with a creek , Rod raised a brow upon seeing my mother being led out; she was scraggly looking , pale and unkempt. She was made to sit at a table while Rod advanced forward and sat opposite her.
• “Police says it is a case of attempted murder and that Melissa is ready to sue if the law is willing to take its due cause,” that was the voice of Rod, “Did you actually do it? Or is she just accusing you falsely?” he asked yet further.
