Chapter 31 A Helping Hand
- The crack spread very quickly. From the peak of my confidence to the foundation of anger and hatred. I felt sorry for the woman, as she had experienced and endured so much, and I couldn't even begin to understand the tiniest bit of her experiences. Surely she wanted to keep the baby very much and endured a lot for it... I sat down next to my mom on the bed and then, in a burst of emotions, she said something that gave me the final push.

The sharp object had been living in my body for a long time, slowly making its way to my heart. And now, it had reached its target and the veil from my eyes had finally been lifted.
