Chapter 80 Epilogue
- "Shulgina!" the professor's voice echoes throughout the auditorium. "Hey, Shulgina!"
- I draw Alan's name on my notebook with a pen and add little hearts to the inscription. In my thoughts, I was already far away from here. Today is Friday, the last class, and Alan and I are going to a restaurant together. I always look forward to our dates, because after the wedding, each of us was too busy with different things, leaving very little time to be together. I was so lost in my daydream that I didn't notice the approaching danger. The pointer slammed down on my desk so abruptly that the notebook under my fingers jumped. With horror, I raise my eyes and meet the stern gaze of the teacher.
- "Shulgina!" he says harshly, and it finally dawns on me that he was calling me. Damn, I just can't get used to the fact that I changed my last name after the wedding. "It seems you missed a good part of the lecture, and as a responsible educator, I simply must keep you after class to explain everything."
