Chapter 154 Bringing a Gorgeous Woman Home
- As Bradley was utterly confused by what the woman was implying, he simply changed the topic of their conversation. “That’s fine—we can discuss all of that after we get this contract signed.” Paige reached for a pen and casually scribbled her valuable signature on the paper without even going through the contract beforehand. “Well, let’s go! I’m free today; it’d be great to pay a visit to the village just to get some fresh air and experience calm, peaceful living for a day,” she said enthusiastically.

She got a little impatient after Bradley remained motionless for a short while and asked, “What is it? Are you going against your words after getting my signature?”
- “Of course not! I was just thinking about how the first bus back to Jackson Village might’ve already left by now. We might have to wait for the next one.” Bradley estimated that they’d have to wait for at least 2 hours before they could take the next ride, and he explained this to her with a straight face. She narrowed her eyes a little before pressing her brows into a frown. “Are you saying that you don’t have a car?”
