- Bradley lowered his head to think about it. His father had a point; if he didn’t go to the city, then he would have to put up with his mother’s matchmaking attempts tomorrow. Matchmaking was a sore spot for him; fear would immediately rise up within him at the mere mention of it. He didn’t have time to spare on those women and their looks of revulsion.
- “Got it. I’ll head out to the city tomorrow. I’ve got things to do there anyway,” he acquiesced.
- He then returned to his room and opened his mental vault to study the materials in there. Some time later, he drifted off to sleep.
