Chapter 152 Call Him Our Leader
- An evil grin crept across Bradley’s face. “I can let the rest go, but I can’t just let Angelo—this sh*tty mayor—off the hook so easily! Only God knows the amount of the Riverdale villagers’ hard-won possessions that have been snatched by that man ever since he became the mayor of the county a few years ago.” Angelo panicked the moment he heard these words. He immediately crawled over to Bradley before clinging onto Bradley’s leg and pleading, “Boss, I’m begging you; please let me go. I promise I’d learned from my mistakes.”
- Bradley simply kicked the man away after hearing what he had to say. “Did you just call me your boss? Since when did a b*stard like you become a follower of mine? Don’t you dare attempt to form connections with me right now. I’ll make sure that your death anniversary falls a year from today.” Bradley didn’t actually plan on killing him; his words were simply spat out with the intention of scaring the b*stard of a mayor. He especially despised the mayor after his research indicated that many of the Riverdale’s villagers were fearful to voice out despite being in a dire situation ever since he took over as the mayor of the county.
- Furthermore, according to Henry and the rest, this mayor didn’t hesitate to send his men over to threaten his daughter’s boyfriend’s life just for the sake of retrieving some land for himself. He did all he could just to get his hands on the piece of land in the Western suburbs. Perhaps what I’m doing now is really just getting rid of someone who has been nothing but a pest to our society, Bradley thought.
