• At night, Vivian lay in her bed, but her thoughts kept spinning. She couldn’t sleep, restless as she pondered everything that had happened. The atmosphere in the room felt silent, only the ticking of the clock was clearly audible. Vivian felt wide awake, her eyes wide open staring at the ceiling.
• Gaston, lying beside her, suddenly turned and saw the worried expression on his wife's face. "Vivi, why can’t you sleep?" he asked, his voice hoarse from just waking up.
• Vivian sighed, trying to gather her words. "I'm still thinking about the phone call earlier. The voucher... I’m not sure it’s real," she said, her voice soft but filled with doubt.
