Chapter 11 The Proposal

• Damian couldn’t understand why the man in front of him wanted to be seen as a fool. While he was still thinking, Gaston seemed to lose interest in small talk.
• “You can contact your family, right?” Gaston asked. “I’m leaving!”
• Damian still felt pain coursing through his body as he quickly rose to stop Gaston from leaving. Inside, that pain only strengthened his resolve not to let the man in front of him walk away so easily.
