Chapter 32 Vivian's Anger

• Not long after Vivian called the police, the sound of sirens began to echo in the distance. Gaston and Vivian exchanged glances, feeling the tension slowly start to ease. Within minutes, the police arrived at the front of the house, stepping inside with purpose.
• “Where’s the intruder?” one of the officers asked, his eyes scanning the surroundings seriously. Gaston pointed to the bound man lying in the corner of the room.
• “He’s over there,” Gaston replied, his voice still trembling. The police quickly approached the intruder, ensuring he couldn’t move, and began to conduct a search.
