Chapter 13 Too Much Nonsense

  • On the other hand, Blaine was still arrogant. "You are finished; just wait and see."
  • Janice, sitting inside the car, felt tense, as she was well aware of Blaine's past.
  • It was said that the man was a ruthless murderer. But because the Tiger Head Gang was controlling the local area, the relevant departments did not dare act on him.
  • She had called the police earlier, and the absence of the police up to that time was a sign of the situation.
  • "Clinton, why don't we forget about it?"
  • When Janice got out of the car, she walked up to Clinton. "They are dangerous people. It is better not to quarrel with them. It's because of them that Deelton is falling apart!"
  • Clinton turned to Janice and said softly, "Then, this time, we will show them what it is like to face a real enemy, and they will never forget it. But the thing is that we do not have the right to do so, and, more importantly, we do not have the means to do so."
  • Clinton did not have a chance to respond to Blaine before the latter interrupted him. "Now you are scared? It is too late."
  • Blaine listened to what Janice and Clinton said and then began to assume the pompous air again. "Anyway, my boss, Cohen, is in a bad mood, which is bad. Let me tell you, you're done for this time. Even if we don't care about this matter, the other party definitely won't let us off."
  • Last of all, Clinton sighed and said to Janice, "Don't worry, I have a way."
  • Janice felt helpless. What she wanted was to reduce the occurrence, but this did not seem to bother Clinton.
  • But what he said appeared to be quite logical. Besides, we were the ones who closed the road in the first instance, were we not? Even if we managed to get past this today, Blaine and the others would still be there the next day.
  • Then Clinton rushed at Blaine and, without uttering a word, kicked him.
  • Bang!
  • Blaine was knocked back five meters.
  • "Ahh!"
  • Next, Blaine collapsed to the ground.
  • However, Clinton did not release Blaine scot-free and approached the latter again.
  • A sharp smack was then followed by another agonizing cry. Blaine's leg was broken.
  • "Y-You—"
  • Blaine pointed his finger at Clinton, and then there was another scream as Blaine's wrist was fractured.
  • Blaine was now scared stiff at this point.
  • People said that those who had nothing to lose were not afraid of anything.
  • To Blaine, he was the one who had nothing to lose, and Clinton was the complete opposite.
  • "Weren't you arrogant just now?" Clinton squatted down, looking at Blaine. "Why are you not arrogant now?"
  • "I-I—" Blaine never got the chance to say anything as Clinton attacked once more.
  • Smack!
  • A palm print was left on Blaine's cheek.
  • "Go on, say something!"
  • By this time, Blaine could not utter a word, for he knew that he would be beaten again if he opened his mouth.
  • "Kneel!" Clinton barked, "You have five minutes left. If your reinforcements are not here in five minutes, I will neutralize you."
  • Blaine did not dare to look at Clinton.
  • He finally understood that he had insulted a person he should not have.
  • His only consolation was that Cohen should be around soon.
  • Otherwise, he would lose his masculinity or the power to be a man.
  • At the same time, he could not help but blame Clinton for not keeping his word. Did we not decide that we should wait for ten minutes before doing anything?
  • Blaine was trembling, and despite the pain in his foot, he got down on his knees.
  • Then, Clinton immediately noticed a stench, and yellowish discharge began to trickle out from under Blaine's crotch.
  • "D*mn!"
  • Clinton immediately got up from his seat and moved backward to a distance of two to three meters from Blaine.
  • "You were so cocky a moment ago. Why are you afraid now?" Clinton still had his hand over his nose. "I never thought that you would be such a chicken, you thug."
  • After that, he went back to Janice's side. "Honey, why don't you go back to the car?" He murmured, "You may get injured."
  • If it were any other time, Janice would have replied in a huff, "Don't call me honey in public!" But now she had to yield.
  • Then, she quietly returned to the car, but before closing the door, she warned, "Be careful!"
  • Clinton nodded happily.
  • In ten minutes, ten cars or more drove to the scene, and hundreds of people got out of the cars and encircled the area.
  • Observing this scenario, people close by ran away as fast as they could.
  • Last, a man got out of the Lamborghini—Cohen Dunn.
  • Sean stayed inside the car and looked like he had no plans of leaving it at all.
  • "Boss, I'm here!"
  • As soon as Cohen joined Blaine, the latter felt that he had his courage back with him. "Save me!"
  • He did not know that, immediately after he had screamed for help, the other leg was also fractured.
  • "Ahh! D*mn it!" Switching back to arrogance, Blaine said, "Now that my boss is here, you are definitely going to die!"
  • Smack!
  • Clinton slapped him.
  • "You—"
  • Smack! Smack!
  • "I—"
  • Smack! Smack! Smack!
  • Blaine's face was now red as a cherry, and his cheeks were puffy because he had been slapped several times.
  • At that moment, he was scared again.
  • ''Go on, scream for help!"
  • Blaine looked at Clinton, not wanting to utter a single word, but the next second he felt a slap on his face.
  • Powerless, Blaine could not understand why he was being beaten when he had not spoken at all.
  • "Stop!"
  • Cohen, who had gotten off the car, saw Clinton beating his subordinate in front of him and stormed over.
  • "You're Clinton?"
  • "You have problems with me, but you do not know me?" Clinton said, looking at Cohen. "It does not matter who you are; even if you are a king, I will beat you up if you anger me."
  • "Okay. Let me see who will be the one to get beaten up."
  • Cohen said, making fists with his hands. "You have two options. You get down and beg me to forgive you, give me 30 million, and then divorce Janice. The second option is that you have to fight all the people here. You will die, or they will die. How does that sound?"
  • Clinton replied, "How about nothing? Here are my two options for you. You get on your knees, beg for my mercy, and pay me 50 million. After that, I won't mind it. Or, I will fight all of you to the death. But if I win, you have to pay me one billion. Are my conditions better?"
  • When Clinton told him of his condition, Cohen could not find anything to say. What's the difference? Nevertheless, he will still get on his knees, ask for forgiveness, and then pay me. After that, he will dump Janice. The only difference is the amount of compensation funds.
  • At the same time, Sean, who was in the car, was happy. He thought Clinton was a very intelligent man; he did not think he would act so stupid.
  • Now, he was excitedly thinking about the scene of Clinton kneeling and begging for mercy later.
  • At the same time, he looked forward to the feeling of being between the sheets with Janice tonight.
  • As he thought about it, he felt his lower body move.
  • Last of all, he shut his eyes and stood ready to urinate.
  • In the other car, Janice was very anxious.
  • When she realized that Clinton was cornered, she began to have second thoughts.
  • If she had known that things would end this way, she would not have accepted to go on this blind date
  • The situation was that Clinton could be beaten to a pulp or even killed!
  • She was not sure if it was right to blame it on him, but at the same time, she was furious. Why have the police not come yet?
  • "Okay, I accept your terms."
  • Cohen squinted at Clinton. "What do you think might happen if you do this?"
  • "You two are always chattering," Clinton pointed out as he took out a cigarette and glared at Cohen. "This man is too talkative, so I crippled his legs and one hand; if you also do the same, I will do the same to you."
  • "How dare you threaten me?" Cohen was also angry. "Everyone, attack!"
  • When Cohen said his piece, his underlings were ready to rush the field.
  • Suddenly, over thirty cars came from all directions, and over two hundred people came out of the cars.
