Chapter 24

• Jessica walked into the motel room to find Trey disheveled, wearing only boxers, and the room in complete disarray with leftover pizza packs and soda cans scattered around. She couldn't help but scrunch her nose in disgust.
• “Trey, what on earth are you doing here? And why have you been completely out of touch this past week? You look a mess, and what's with the state of this motel room?”
• Trey let out a heavy sigh and went to the bed to grab his pants. "It's Liam," he said, frustration evident in his voice. "He's taken everything from me. Seized the house he bought for me, took my cars, and even froze my account. I'm freaking left with nothing."
