• That evening, Chelsea drilled Xolo, wanting to know everything Liam said to him, but Xolo barely said anything. “I told you already, Mom, he just wanted to apologize to me for what his son did,” he explained, feeling frustrated.
• Chelsea breathed, the words rolling out of her mouth as if they were poisonous. “Then why does he want to know my name? Kara told me he asked you.”
• “He was probably just curious,” he muttered before getting up from the couch. “I have to go do my homework.”
