Chapter 11

• Chelsea was working on some paperwork when Anna informed her that Liam wanted to see her inside his office. She threw her head back in frustration before getting up from her chair; she wasn't looking forward to seeing Liam right now. When she arrived at his office, he was busy with his phone. He dropped the phone on the table before looking at her. He could tell from the slanting of her lips that she wasn't happy; truthfully, it was unfair that the opportunity was given to Jessica whereas she was the one who closed the deal. But he couldn't do that to Jessica; she was his fiancee.
• “Miss Jensen, I want to inform you that we'll be going to visit some new investors next week together. I want you to gather some vital information on our restaurant,” Liam announced in a stern voice, although he avoided her eyes.
• Chelsea sighed and flickered strands of golden hair from her face before nodding. “I'll take care of it, sir.”
