• After eating, taking medicine, and sleeping for three hours, Shane felt better. He woke up and stretched his arms in the air, just like Charlie often did when he woke up. Shane scanned his entire suite, which felt silent. He swung his legs out of bed and walked out. He found the living room empty and one of Cammila's sandals missing from the shoe rack.
